Our Story

My father, Tom Bostedt, designed and patented My Hitch Caddy to be a simple solution to a list of issues he witnessed people struggling with, such as:

- The hitch always seems to be in an inconvenient spot or slides around and makes noise

- Becomes a fatal projectile in the event of a collision

- Unable to remove the hitch because it rusted to the receiver

- Lost or stolen pins and hitches

Using 1/4" hardware, or even clamps, you can find multiple ways to install My Hitch Caddy in a convenient location and safely store your keeper pin and hitch within the mounting device using the cotter pin or a small lock.

Sadly, shortly after patenting this product he was diagnosed with a rare cancer and passed away never having the opportunity to introduce his product to the world.

Years later, while cleaning, I found his plans and notes, made some improvements and am ready to fulfill his dream to help you gain safety, convenience and efficiency.
